The warmth of an exquisite piece of wood in a cool contemporary design -- that to me is a thing of beauty. As a furniture designer and maker I am motivated by the thrill and challenge of creating something beautiful that is new and unique. No other experience comes close.

Following my own vision has resulted in unique contemporary furniture with well-defined, crisp lines. I started my furniture career after 25 years in software engineering, degrees in science, math and architecture, and decades of woodworking experience. Several of my designs feature mathematical and scientific principles.

In July 2020 I launched a new collection of curved furniture — CURVEiture. New decade, new direction, new work.

My furniture work combines several passions that have driven my life: designing, engineering, art, woodworking, science, math and architecture. Answering the question "What can I make next?" drives it now.

My design studio and shop are located in Eugene, Oregon. Most of my work is shipped out of state. I craft each piece of furniture myself, at a pace that allows me to strive for perfection.
